Stopped here for a takeaway coffee to enjoy in the park. It was piping hot, reasonably priced and the service was friendly. The cakes were very tempting but unfortunately I didn't indulge this time so can't vouch for their taste and quality. Worth a stop if you want something whilst in Matlock. Savoury items were also available.

Tried to make it for breakfast, but with teens in tow it ended up being an early lunch! Had a walk around the park and went back for cakes! Really lovely.

We went there after seeing all the good google reviews. We went for the large full traditional breakfast. Best i had in a while. Things were not greasy, the quality of food used were on another level to normal cafes. Really worth the money. We shared this and it only cost around 8. The surrounding was amazing on a beautiful hot day.

We have been twice to Cafe in the Park now for a very filling afternoon tea. It's no frills with well filled sandwiches, crisps and salad, a huge slab of cake and a big scone. Unlimited hot drinks too. Perfect if you don't fancy finger sandwiches. Staff are lovely and well attentive. Will be back again soon!

A wonderful place to eat and have coffee, the cakes, pastries and home cooked food is to die for. Cheerful and accomodating staff. Lovely clean surroundings.

Myself and my partner regularly come to the cafe in the park lovly atmosphere every time friendly caring staff and delious full English breakfast. Along with there wide range of main meals we have tried. there lasagna being one of my favourites and not forgetting the amazing cakes. Great prices highly recommended

Had tea and cake here recently. As usual, the service was friendly, and the food and drink were excellent. I have visited many times and would highly recommend it. Called in again in August and had this lovely coffee and pecan cake. Added some Valentine cake photos for February 2024. 13th October 2024 had tea and apple pie delicious! November 2024 and the cafe is decorated for Christmas, seasonal cakes await, and 'spicy parsnip soup'. The staff are as friendly as ever, a warm atmosphere awaits....

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Cafe in the Park. Staff were really friendly and the food really good quality. I would recommend ordering chicken, brie and cranberry toasted sandwich! My partner enjoyed the triple sausage ciabatta too.
